Incident, Damage and Claims Policy
Version 2026.1-DRAFT Β· Effective 2026-08-24
DRIVEVIA INCIDENT, DAMAGE AND CLAIMS POLICY
DriveVia operates solely as a marketplace connecting Fleets and Providers. DriveVia is never a party to, and never assumes any responsibility, liability, or risk for, any accident, damage, loss, or theft occurring during a Mission. Responsibility for any such incident is exclusively between the Fleet and the Provider involved in that Mission.
1. IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS
- Ensure everyone's safety first. Call 911 if there is any injury or if required by law.
- Contact local law enforcement to file a report where required.
- Photograph the scene, all vehicles involved, and any visible damage.
- Exchange insurance and contact information with any other parties involved.
- Report the incident to DriveVia through the Dispute Center as soon as safely possible, and notify the Fleet.
2. IF YOU DISCOVER DAMAGE OR A DISCREPANCY (NO ACCIDENT)
Photograph the issue immediately and report it through the Dispute Center before continuing the Mission where possible. Comparing pickup and delivery photos is the primary evidence used to evaluate a claim.
3. ALLOCATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Fleet and the Provider are solely responsible, between themselves, for resolving any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from a Mission, including through their own respective insurance coverage. DriveVia does not insure any Vehicle, Fleet, or Provider, does not adjudicate insurance claims, and does not indemnify either party for any incident. The Dispute Center is a platform tool that helps Fleet and Provider document and resolve a Mission-related issue between themselves, and to determine whether a payout should be withheld, released, or adjusted β it is not an admission of responsibility by DriveVia and does not make DriveVia a party to any claim.
4. TIMELINES
Issues should be reported as soon as possible, and in any case before the Platform's payout holding period ends, after which resolution may be more limited.
Effective as stated on this document's publication date.
